The databases ABC World Culture, ABC The USA, and ABC Maps are all being offered for free. 

AMERICAN ARCHIVE OF PUBLIC BROADCASTING

The American Archive has over 100,000 digital clips from public broadcasting in the United States It has special collections including Firing Line and the raw interviews from a large number of documentaries. 

AMERICAN PANORAMA

American Panorama is a historical atlas of the United States using cutting edge research and technology for the 21st century. 

 BUNK HISTORY

Bunk History offers a collection of videos that deal with both history and current events in the United States.   

CIVICS 101

Civics 101 is a podcast with episodes that range from 15-20 minutes about the US Government. They also have graphic organizers to help you work with your students on the material. 

CK-12 EDUCATION

CK-12 offers numerous online lesons in social studies. It is free and lessons can be put up through google classroom.  

CSPAN FOR THE CLASSROOM

CPSAN Classroom works with the cable channel to provide resources dealing with public affairs, government, and non fiction books including numerous videos. 

FACING HISTORY

Facing History’s resources address racism, antisemitism, and prejudice at pivotal moments in history.  There is free access once you register.

KIALO

Kialo allows you to set up online debates in a simple manner. It allows for students to debate over time and not live and has a free option. 

ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has materials you can access to use rock music to teach various lessons. 

TEACH ROCK

Little Steven (Bruce Springsteen's guitarist and Sopranos cast member) has a website dedicated to teaching using rock music.
